This trend is making me glad. We are getting more liberal, less prudent, more mature, less protected and protective, and... yes, more strong, as news on TV often provide us with very naturalistic spots depicting wounds and accidents. Few years ago, people would get sick seeing them. We can bear more now... partly thanks to media and advertising.
But how long is this trend going to continue? Where is the final frontier it is not going to cross? And is there any? Today, we recieved a "postcard-spam" with the following text and picture:
Believe it or not, the product this postcard should be promoting is a set of educational CDs for businessmen and managers. If you don't believe me, just check out their website.The text next to the picture sais:

It still gives me shivers... Who can order such product, or who wants their competitors to actually commit suicide? Yes, business life is not about singing lullabys to each other. But hasn't this come too far?
What shall we await next? A photo of one businessman killing another? Video with a murder?
While I wanted to report this advertisment as immoral at www.rpr.sk (the national board for advertising), I found out that the form didn't work... But quality of IT in public institutions is another topic that could be worth writing about...
